Accounts Apprentice with Church Pharmacy

• Salary: £6.50 per hour, 40 hours per week
• Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
• Location: 7 Prince William Road, Loughborough, LE11 5GU
• Qualification: You will be working towards your AAT Level 2 qualification which will take approximately 15 months.

So, what will your day to day look like?

• Processing of purchase invoices, and data entry.
• Accounts receivable (end to end), including aged debtors reporting and credit control.
• Accounts payables (end to end) including preparing bank payment files, daily weekly and monthly payment runs and card payments.
• Assisting with monthly management accounts and year end accounts.
• Bank reconciliations including foreign currency.
• Finalising VAT return for Senior manager review, chasing outstanding invoices and receipts.
• Liaising with other departments effectively.
• Daily sales reporting.
• Assisting with Payroll and expense claims, and journals.
• Ad hoc finance and admin tasks, including scanning, filing etc.
• Monthly customer statement run.

What skills/qualifications or personalities would be suited to this role?

• You must have a minimum of English/Maths GCSE 4/C to apply for this role and you must have lived in the UK for a minimum of 3 years
• Communication and team working.
• Analytical, logical and organisation.
• IT, administrative and numeracy skills.
• Attention to detail, initiative, problem solving, and patience.
