WHY work with Boston Nursery School?
· Salary: £6.40 per hour, 40 hours per week
· Hours: Monday to Friday; 7.30-3pm OR 8.30-4pm
(maybe occasional days where we need additional cover at Afterschool club until 5.15pm)

WHAT will my average day look like?
You will be supporting children and be a role model.
· Support children on a one-to-one basis, in small groups or as part of a full class.
· Get creative in helping children to achieve their developmental steps.
· Assist with breakfast/lunchtime/after school clubs.
· Help with assessments and inputting of data.
· Change children as required and after training.
· Administer basic first aid after training.
· Assist in planning and creating inspiring learning environments.
· Prepare simple, healthy snacks.
· Develop over time into a key person role.
· Work inside and outside.
· Set up and tidy areas and resources.
· Contribute to planning and assessment.
· Any other duties which are relevant to the smooth running of the nursery as directed by the Head Teacher or members of staff.
· Lead activities and stories.

HOW does the Apprenticeship work?
You will be working towards your Early Years Educator Level 3 Qualification and attend 1-2-1 meetings via teams every month to discuss your progress with your tutor and learn about modules including risk management, key person & attachment, learning & development, and more! You will have a minimum of 6 hours per week to complete apprenticeship work which includes assignments, research, and training within your role. All apprenticeship work is completed in the workplace during your working hours.
